Brian Brophy, a native Michigander, is a graduate of Harding University in Searcy, AR.  Brian graduated from Harding in 2001 with degrees in both Youth Ministry and Christian Education.  Brian has worked with churches in Georgia, Arkansas, and Kentucky and has been at Pennyrile since 2002.  Brian designs and facilitates a youth program and educational curriculum based on four principles; Reaching others, Serving others, Growing ourselves, and Praising God.  Brian primarily works with the 7th-12 grade students but also finds time to work with the young adults, plan congregation wide activities, lead worship, and put together this website. 

    When he has time Brian enjoys producing short inspirational video projects and writing.  Brian has had articles featured in several academic journals, magazines, and online.  He also recently completed a curriculum series for the Jesus Painter One Way Video.  Brian serves on the planning board for the Harding University Uplift camp program and is responsible for Zoo Crew at Uplift's third session.   Brian has been a guest speaker at Harding University and Oklahoma Christian University, and also spoken at Harding's Lectureships.  Brian has worked professionally as a graphic designer and enjoys doing free lance projects from time to time.

  He also enjoys music, hunting, sports, and fooling with electronic gadgets.  Brian is married to his college sweetheart Alicia and has one daughter, Ashton.  At Brian's house everyone roots for UK (unless they play Michigan).
